Open The Door !

Once in a far away place, lived a young happy girl. She was  normal, average, yet she was the happiest person on earth, because she loved someone truly. But one unfortunate day,the skies fell on her, when she realized she had been left all alone by her only true love. She was devastated. The only two activities she seemed to remember were either crying or waiting. Some days she cried, some days she waited, and the rest of days she cried and waited and waited and cried. But alas he didn't returned. All day she sat by the door, waiting for him to knock. One particular knocking she waited for so much, that she ignored the knocking of other suitors. But the knocking she waited for never came and the cycle of crying and waiting continued for years.

One day,as she sat waiting by the door, she heard a knock. Her eyes gleamed with hope, wishing it was him. But no,it was someone else.Tears again gathered in her eyes, and she ignored the knocking, knowing that this suitor will also leave eventually like the others at her ignorance. But this man knocked again, and she ignored him again. He knocked continuously, and she ignored him continuously. He knocked for days, months and years, never leaving. He sat by the door waiting for her to open the door, just as she waited for him to leave. But he never did. He knocked and knocked and knocked,so much that one day she finally opened the door because she couldn't bear the knocking anymore. There stood a young man, whose eyes shone bright as the door opened, with a flower in one hand, and he took her by the other into the world for which she had closed the doors years back.

She couldn't believe her eyes. The sun light, the trees, the breeze, the fragrance of flowers, the chirping of birds, the human noise seemed like a dream to her senses. All those years she sat in a dark room with the door closed, had made her forgotten what it was like to be a human. Children giggling, leaves rustling, wildness blooming, her life was witnessing spring in every way. An involuntary smile came from her heart to her lips, and she couldn't help but smile, forgetting everything. Suddenly the clouds thundered, and drops of hope touched her eyes after eternity. Her suitor was watching her intently all this time. There couldn't be anything more satisfying for him than seeing her dancing and laughing, All this time he had heard her crying and sobbing on the other side of door, and he would've done everything to take her pain away, only if she would've given him a chance, only she would've opened the door. But today she had,and he wouldn't let that door close again. He marched towards her, held her hand, got down on his knees and said "I'm here to stay Miss,by your side forever. But now you have to decide where I'm going to stay : outside your heart,or are you going to let me inside ?" She looked at him. Probably he was her hope. She looked into his eyes for the first time, and instantly felt safe, and somehow knew this man could teach her how to live again. She held his hand, got down on her knees too,and whispered something in his ears. "Inside",she sang.

We've all been through a heart break. Some were minor, some were repairable, some were handle-able,but one of them was like taking a bullet, right in the heart, pain so intense you would prefer dying rather than living with it. But it's just not the pain that comes after such heart break, trusting issues becomes a major problem too. Very often, people who once have been in love, really serious kind of love, when the relationship ends, just lose their hopes in love altogether. They get afraid of opening their hearts again, afraid that they might get hurt again, afraid of letting go of the past, afraid of letting a stranger again inside their doors. They just close the gates to their inner selves, waiting for "the one" to return. Why ? My dear people,if he/she was really the one, they wouldn't have left you in the first place. But they did. When you really love someone, and they leave, obviously waiting for them to come back to you seems like the most natural thing to do,and well, honestly I think upto a level you should wait for them. But after that certain level, you need to let go,and open those doors for someone else. That certain level can be days, months,or even years, depending on your own self, but the wait shouldn't be lifelong. You deserve love, and someone who will make the efforts to break down all your walls and reach out to you.

Love is a godly thing to be in,but a ghostly thing when it leaves, but when it leaves,it's for the best. You may love someone more than you can even imagine or put into words, and when that person leaves,it shatters you,but that's okay. What we people choose to ignore is the simple truth of life : every single person comes into our life for a role to play, and when that role part is over, they leave. They often comes as a mirror, reflecting aspects about our own-selves,which we couldn't see otherwise, and once they've done that, they no longer have a reason to stay. Embrace the beautiful memories you made with them, and then move on,who knows, something more beautiful could be waiting for you. You can close your heart with all the locks you could lay your hands on and throw away the keys, but one day,one stranger will come and break all of them with love. All you need to do is not be afraid of this intruder,to open up your heart and let this thief steal it,and trust in love again. It's worth it,I promise, just give love another chance.
