All Those Who Choose Arts,Aren't Intelligent Enough ?
Ever since I was a child,I grew up hearing "Oh,you're a science student.How lovely.You must have been very bright in studies."Or "Oh you want to be an Accountant.Handling money and stuff.Good."Or "You are from Arts & Humanities ? You study Sociology? Literature? Languages? You are definitely not getting any good paying job."And the most hilarious and ridiculous one "Oh,you have taken arts,you must have been really weak in studies".I just can't believe people like them exist.
Yes,we all can admit that,Arts is definitely not as much as technical as science and commerce.That there are not many formulas,experiments,derivations to cram.But saying that Arts is not difficult,or it's just about reading stories,painting some "non-profiting" pictures is as dumb as saying that only rich people have brains and talent.I mean,why just people can't accept that a lot of people take up their stream just because they love it.A person wants to study literature,what does that has to do with his/her grades? A person loves to dance,why should he/she study engineering? A person loves to pour his/her imagination on canvas,why should he/she be forced to sit in a closed room,with files,calculating money,all day long ? A person's intelligence shouldn't be measured by the subjects he/she takes in life,but by the life he/she finds in the subjects he/she has taken.Because,if one is poised about the decisions he/she had made,they are definitely intelligent,because they had the courage to follow their heart.Is it so hard to understand ?
Science is about experiment;arts-humanity.Biology is about blood,literature-heart.Chemistry is about balancing equations;poetry-about balancing pain.Physics is about understanding gravitation;psychology-about understanding human emotions.Engineering is about playing with machines;painting-playing with colors.Accounting is about calculating profits;photography-about calculating memories.Medical is about treating patients with medicines;writing-healing people with words.Law depicts justice;dance depicts passion.
Everything has a place in life.All the three i.e.science,commerce and arts are different in their own way.But yet they are all the same.All of them wants to make life better,in their own unique way.Without machines life will be difficult.Without money life will be difficult.Everyone accept that.But without the different forms of art,life would be difficult too,and that's what a lot of people need to admit.Arts is just not about reading senseless stories,or taking motionless pictures,it's about trying to drench your soul in life.So respect the people related to arts as well respect people related to any field.Because,one thing I can assure you,you might earn more money then them,but they understand the real value of life,more than you,and at the end the of the day,are happier and much more satisfied.And if they have the real talent,they could even emerge as the next acting stars,directors,painters,writers,sports-person,journalist,dancers,musicians,photographers,fashion-designers,or anything.And yes not to forget,I am not an art student,and I kind of envy the people who are. :)
